Blood Brothers
Even though I am the only “nappy-headed” Presidential candidate in 2008, I am still everything hateful an American can be. I am a Korean War veteran who received the G.I. bill of rights that paid for four years of Pace University and one year of law school. I also take full advantage of my veteran’s status to see my psychiatrists and surgeons at the VA hospital.
I call myself a Korean War veteran even though I was stationed at the Second Signal Photo Platoon in Long Island City, NY as a photographer. Then I spent a year as a photographer at Fort Huachuca, Arizona all while our boys were getting injured and being killed on foreign soil.
In other words, I am fraud just like our soon to be fired Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who is an argument to keep foreigners in their own country, and our cocaine-addled, buffoon of a president, George W. Bush. Our pathetic president, who, time and again, proves that imbecility is genetic, is a blood brother of Osama Bin Laden because he sent all our retaliatory forces not against the real Twin Tower perpetrators but against other countries that had nothing to do with that attack.
Under Bush (he should really be named no-Bush) we have a foreign country that never hurt the U.S., in our crosshairs. It would have been smarter for Bush to attack Staten Island and sink the ferry, which would clearly improve the quality of life in Manhattan. Six years after the assault on the towers, the reason Bin Laden is still alive is that all of our resources are not being used against him. From the incompetent CIA and FBI, to the self-serving and devious actions of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney, America has become a reflection of our Hitler-like “leader.” Our civil liberties are being raped under the guise of fighting a terrorist that we unleashed on the world.
It is ironic that we weep and wail about 32 college students murdered by a madman, an act which I obviously deplore, and is a reflection of how badly we treat the mentally crippled in our country, when every day in Baghdad and the surrounding cities in Iraq, car bombs and I.E.D'.s kill hundreds of people a day – and Bush does not shed a tear.
By the way, I wish Lee Harvey Oswald was still alive and Bush was passing the book depository. This would make me Kvell, which is Jewish slang for thrill. If Bush had any integrity he would make a citizens arrest on himself and lock himself in the mental institution that his fellow homicidal freak, Madman Cho, should still be locked-up inside of .

Bravo. Your best post ever. Only to see a spammer and less loyal readers to offer kudos. We now live in the age of apathy. The same devil may carelessness that lead to the fall of ancient Rome.
Western Rome is just around the corner. Us older folks are lucky to have seen this country in better days. Oy vey.

Al, are you sure Bin Laden is still alive? Are you sure Bush doesn't shed a tear? Remember, what hurts us is not what we know, or what we don't know; what hurts us that which we think we know, but it just ain't so.
Great post! I just came back from the UK where the Virginia Tech story was all over the news. Every news broadcast they did, they talked about the lack of gun control in the U.S.
That's true, but if one of those students or faculty members had a gun, they might have saved a lot of lives.
p.s. Don't go to the UK.
